Invitation Short Track Speed Skating
And the best place to do so is, where it all started. This is why the 2003 Global Club Competition will be held in Mannheim, Germany, by November 21-23. We are very glad to have the support of the International Skating Union. The ISU recognizes the Global Club as the major event promoting the clubs as the organizational foundation of our beautiful sport. The organizational team has already started to prepare this extraordinary event. So, mark the date in your calendar. Keep these dates free of other events and make sure that your club participates in the worlds biggest club event. More details will be mailed on short notice. The competition layout and rules will be like 2001. All categories contribute to the club classification, distances will be skated according to the All Finals System, each club makes its own arrangements, etc. The future of the Global Club Competition will no doubt be a major topic for the club administrative's meetings during the Event. Furthermore we will disseminate as much information as possible on short track, equipment, competitions and training available for clubs in form of an information market.
